Internships
There are a number of opportunities for ASC Leadership Majors interested in internships. We have a growing network of industry connections, offer course credit for internships through ASC 3192, and through generous alumni donations, we are able to offer financial support to a number of majors each years.
Erkis Family Leadership Scholarship
Provides one or more merit-based scholarships to undergraduate students who are enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences (“College”), studying leadership classes, and are pursuing internships with career aspirations in the areas of business and markets; military and security studies; and/or science and innovation with a focus on health sciences. The University may modify any criteria used to select scholarship recipients should the criteria be found, in whole or in part, to be contrary to federal or state law or University policy.Scholarship recipients, the number of recipients, and amount of each scholarship shall be determined in accordance with the then current guidelines and procedures for scholarship administration established by the College, in consultation with Student Financial Aid.
Goldman Family Enrichment Fund for Leadership Majors in Industry
Provides support to one or more undergraduate students who are enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences, are pursuing a degree in leadership, are pursuing internships furthering their career aspirations in the areas of business and markets and demonstrate academic merit. Financial need shall not be a deciding factor. Recipients, the number of recipients, and amount of support shall be determined in accordance with the then current guidelines and procedures for student support established by the college, in consultation with Student Financial Aid.
Michael Stern Hat Trick Fund
Provides one or more merit-based scholarships to undergraduate students who, while enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences (“College”), are both pursuing a degree in Leadership Studies and pursuing internships. If no students meet the selection criteria in a given academic year, the funds shall be reserved to the following academic year. If no students meet the selection criteria in three consecutive academic years, a merit-based scholarship will, instead, be awarded and be open to all undergraduate students who are enrolled in the College.
